Buff also sponsored Davy on the 2009 Skeleton Coast Expedition where the hundred and one uses were put to the test. During the day temperatures reached 40°C and the SPF 30 Expedition Buff’s worn around the neck and as bandannas by the team were a real life saver, preventing sunburn and subsequent dehydration.

At night the temperature would fall to around 3°C and a Buff as a beanie around the campfire was the fashion accessory of choice by all the best dressed desert explorers.
