What Experience do you need/

Winter walking experience in such places as The Lakes and Scottish Highlands

A working knowledge of how to use ice axe and crampons

Walking on snow covered mountains and have in reasonable level of mountain walking fitness

It is assumed the peak will involve some climbing with crampons and ice axe and areas where the group will be roped for safety. This will all be confirmed prior to the trip once the guides have made an initial assessment of the peak

There will be a team of experienced high altitude Sherpas to assist and guide you with the climb, and a team of porters and low altitude Sherpas for the organisation of equipment, tents, and food at Base Camp.

In common with all trekking at altitude, time for acclimatisation is essential and this will be built into the itinerary.
